Fall is one of our favorite seasons when it comes to fashion - sweater weather has finally arrived! We may be a bit biased here at Betsy Frost Design, but what we look forward to most in terms of switching up our seasonal look involves jewelry. Acorn Jewelry
Rustling leaves, Canadian geese, and the *plunk* of acorns as they hit the ground make up the soundtrack for fall. Acorns are much more than just the preferred snack of squirrels - did you know they are a symbol of protection? Norse legend has it that the god Thor once sought protection from a lightning storm under an oak tree. As the tree attracted lightning, its fruit - the acorn - became sacred. The Vikings began a tradition of putting a single acorn on their windowsills to protect their homes from lightning strikes.
We can’t guarantee that wearing a piece from Betsy’s Acorn collection will keep you safe from lightning, but it certainly couldn’t hurt!

The Harvest Pendant and Ring are two of Betsy’s most popular pieces, and it’s easy to see why. The beautiful leaves and berries are reminiscent of an autumn wreath, but you’ll find that they transition well to other seasons.
