Betsy grew up in North Bennington, Vermont, and spent her childhood playing on the grounds of the Park McCullough House, just a short distance from her home. She was honored to be asked to create a piece of jewelry for for the McCullough House Gift shop, and used the Mansion’s spectacular stained glass skylight as her inspiration. This Tiffany-Style stained glass skylight is prominently on display above the grand staircase and was installed in 1890 during Lizzie McCullough’s major renovation project in preparation for US President Benjamin Harrison’s visit. It replaced a decorative embossed glass skylight that was built into the original 1865 design. This unique medallion is available at the Park-McCullough Gift Shop, in Betsy’s retail store, and on this site! Betsy grew up in North Bennington, Vermont and has spent countless hours on the Park McCullough House property, a spot she considers her absolute favorite place on earth. How lucky could a girl be to have gym class on the lawns of this amazing property? Since the grounds were open to the public, Betsy spent her childhood riding her horses through the McCullough woods, dreaming on the porch swing on long summer nights, listening to classical concerts in the fall, and walking or jogging the beautiful Mile Circle with family and friends. She always dreamed she would get married there, and that dream came true in 1998 when she had her wedding reception in the carriage barn.

If you ever head to Southern Vermont, make sure to visit to the Park McCullough Historic Governor’s Mansion. The place is magical and will not disappoint! https://www.parkmccullough.org. Betsy’s wedding pictures below highlight some of the beauty of the property and ground.
