Swallow Bracelet

$72.00

The Swallow is the newest design in my Wax Seal Collection, and while I was uploading the Swallow images to my web-site, I started wondering, "Why is the Swallow such a popular wax seal?” To my surprise, the Swallow has some serious symbolism:

1) The Swallow is the SYMBOL FOR HOPE

2)  The Swallow is also the totem for COMMUNITY AND ISOLATION.  “Some swallow species are social and some are not.  Very interestingly, This totem animal is giving you the gift of knowing when is the right moment to be a part of the community and participate in its activities and when it is time to retreat and do your own thing.”

3) In addition, the Swallow totem is the PROMISE OF RETURN.  Sailors often get a Swallow tattoo after they have traveled 5000 nautical miles.  In ancient times, the swallows signified that land was near, and the PROMISE OF A SAFE RETURN.

Do you know of anyone who is needing a symbol of HOPE? Or, do you know of someone struggling with SOCIAL DISTANCING and ISOLATION?  Or someone hoping for the promise of a SAFE RETURN to normal right now?  Maybe a Swallow charm could help?

The size of the swallow charm is 3/4” diameter x 1/8” thick.

This Large Swallow Ring is part of Betsy’s “WAX SEAL” collection. These pieces were made through the lost wax casting process using an old wax seal of a barn swallow. See in the image—the wax seal is next to each cast piece.
