Vermeil is 14 Karat Gold Plating over Sterling. Gold Plate looks the same, but it is 14 Karat gold plate over pewter. This medallion is available with both options. This medallion is 1.5” diameter and 1/8” thick. This Medallion comes on an 18” gold filled snake chain, or an 18” twisted silk cord. Click HERE for longer chain or cord option. I was recently asked to create a piece of jewelry for the Crane Mansion at Castle Hill in Ipswich, Massachusetts, where I live. I was honored to be asked and thrilled that there were no set guidelines. The sky was the limit for inspiration! I settled on the beautiful fanlight in the doorways of the Rotunda in the Mansion.
